Rounding

 

Rounding:

      Conveying an amount INACCURATELY.

You can learn to understand to ROUND.   Sometimes, it will not be important to be ACCURATE.   However, if you are not going to be accurate, you need to be inaccurate in the RIGHT way.   The RIGHT way is called ROUNDing.

To use rounding, you must:

Know when someone else is ROUNDing.

Know when it is alright to ROUND.

Know how to ROUND.

The following are examples of rounding:

About 8:00 o'clock.

About 10 feet tall.

About 30 miles away.

About $35.

About 30 people came.

About 30,000 feet.
