In the Britain, people following the trends follow the mode. In Spanish, moda means trendy. In math, mode is used to imply trendy. Given a list of things, such as numbers, the things that occurs most frequently appears to be the trendy thing and is referred to as the mode. So, given the list of number "12,15,16,12, and 9," the number 12 occurs most frequently and appears to be trendy. Furthermore, just like multiple types of clothing could be trendy, there can be multiple numbers that are trendy. For example, given "2,3,4,3,2,7" we find that 2 and 3 are equally trendy and are referred to as the modes of the list.
To find to mode, count how many times each number occurs in the list. Then, choose the number that occurs most frequently as the MODE. If two or more numbers occur with the same frequency, and this frequency is more than any other number, then all the most frequent numbers qualify as the MODE.
